Although this app is aimed at a younger audience, if you remember Charlie Brown, then there’s no shame in having a little play through the app itself in the name of nostalgia.

Cards
Sometimes we don’t get to see as many friends and relatives as we’d like to at Christmas, but part of the tradition of the festive season is to send your thoughts and feelings to those you can’t reach in a card. Cards by Apple Inc. allows you to design your own cards and add your own greetings message, as well as add pictures and other resources to make a card personal to the person you’re sending it to.
Once you’ve made a card, Apple will get it made up and send it to the specified address. Delivery costs $4.99 (around £3) but the app itself is free, and considering Apple covers delivery and production costs, it’s far from expensive.
