We are happy to announce that the giffgaff video blogger project is officially underway. We had two vlogs recently from community members; itswillbarlow and desirefanatics. Will Barlow released his Android App review and DesireFanatics published a review of The Sims game for Android.

Vlogging for giffgaff

If you would like to try your hand at doing your own community video blog, you can. You don’t have to be on camera to contribute to video blogs and previous experience is not essential, we can work with you to get your videos up to the required standard. If you have a subject that you are passionate about, then please respond to this thread or send me a PM with more information about what videos you would like to do with us.

giffgaff Video Tutorials

This week we asked community members to put forward giffgaff tutorial videos that they thought would help new members adjust to life on the community. I submitted two of my own examples to the ‘giffgaff video tutorials’ thread to give members an idea of what we are looking for, but don’t let that restrict you. Feel free to make your video your own.

Promoting giffgaff with video blogs

We would love to see lots more of you posting video content, but you don’t have to own a camera or be a blogger to get involved! Right now, we’re looking for enthusiastic members that can share this content with as many people as possible, be it through social media sites or even by embedding a video on your personal website. There are no restrictions on how you share it!

If you’re interested and you would like to know more about how you can spread giffgaff vlogs,

Contact me: anthony_c via PM

We hope to hear from lots of you soon!

Thanks,

Anthony C

Hmm. Vlogging. My thing or not.... I do not know!!!!!

P.S

Is there an age limit?

by anthony_c on ‎03-05-2012 10:18

@pinkcalculator

Please thank Sox for waving his fees, he is a true gent and it's an honor to have him on board :smileyvery-happy:

On a more serious note, I think a Video Blog on money saving tips would be really good!

@liamwli

For video blogs we would ideally need the author to be 16 yrs and older. Any younger and we would need to ask for parent permissions and there would need to be specific guidelines put in place.

Simple screen capture video tutorials like the ones flaxvert submitted to the giffgaff video tutorials thread would be fine, if that is something that you would like to do.

Thanks,

Ant

Certainly something I'll give some more thought to as might know I'm Scottish so it comes naturally to me to watch the pennies though an accountancy qualification just tops it up. I also work hard to make money for the school, recently we have raised £450 without asking the parents to outlay any extra money, which is also Importaint. My phone / iPad are an absolute must tool be able to do this.

I hate age limits. They should be illegal!

@anthony_c

I was going to do some video tutorials, but flaxvert did pretty much all of them :smileysad:

I would absolutley love to get involved. I'm very fond of giffgaff and want a good reason to publish professional blogs. This could be perfect!

Kind Regards

@ jjolly -

I like the sound of that :smileyhappy: I'll PM you now!

@ pincalculator

That's pretty impressive :smileyhappy: I think you will find that you may actually have a lot to of things that you could probably vlog about if you apply that sames skillset to it :smileywink:

@liamwli

I'm sorry about the age limits bud :smileysad:

I'm sure there are a lot of tutorials you can do still. If there is anything you can think of that would be helpful, then just do it. This list I gave was an example of some of the things we need :smileyhappy:
