Re: Kim's corner. Web Design, Usability, architecture, SEO and best practices

There's a typo on the Autotopup Settings Page HTML where the "Turn on auto top-up by selected amount" text should be defined as the label for the "frm-auto_status" checkbox's id, rather than to its name. Just thought you'd want to know.

Also, having read this post I'll add to the following:

+1 for the fixed background idea

+1 for autofocusing on the username textfield on the login page (perhaps use HTML5's autofocus to add it as an extra to people with good browsers, and eventually all browsers?)

Avatars around the community appear to be inconsistent, with there seemingly being no size limit. This happened to the point where someone's avatar stretched across the width of the content field.

Re: Kim's corner. Web Design, Usability, architecture, SEO and best practices

Hi all,

Sorry I've been late picking some of these. I've just come back from my honeymoon.

Answers to a few very good ideas listed here:

- Fixed background. I like the idea but we need to make sure that this solution is possible accross browsers.

- Login fixed to first box. Yes, defenitely. This is a bug which I will make sure is fixed asap. It used to work properly.

- I will fix the auto top-up sttings page empty tag for next release too.

Thanks for all your help guys. Well done!

Kim: congrats, hope you had a good time.

Fixed backgroun is def compatible across browsers. That's easy. In fact, it's more so than scrolling....

I am also getting the problem with not only loading but displaying HUGE avatars but not on Firefox only on Chrome.

There is also the issue of error messages appearing when switching pages in the mobile version of the Ideas board.

HI Khairul,

I've forwarded this to Vincent and David. They are the ones responsible for Lithium stuff.
