why does giffgaff not support delivery reports? when I was using t-mobile i used that feature a lot since I knew the text got definitly recieved but this does not work on giffgaff.

There might be no delivery report however, when your balance goes down, it clearly indicates that the message has been sent. You revive your balance report after each text and calls you make

It's because O2 don't support delivery reports (neither do Vodafone if I recall) - however you can request delivery reports on an individual basis - just add *0# to the start of your message.  This won't be seen by the person at the other end but it will result in you receiving a delivery report.
