This might sound weird, but I have no idea what the default GiffGaff phone number is. I have received the sim card, and the default telephone number for a new sim card is usually written on or near it. But I have looked all over, and can't find it. How can I find out my new telephone number?

You'll have to phone another phone first and get the number that way.

For some reason the 'my number' option is not available on GG cards...

Hey Clarke,

Lol, tell me about it... I tried soo long to figure it out.

• Basically, just log on to your account (if you have not already)
• Go to My giffgaff ( tab found on the top).Then you will see series of other section just above your news feed.
• Press on My Account, and there you have i, your number written in "Your giffgaff phone number is xxxxxxxxxxx"

after youve activated your sim card by filling in the short form and doing your first £10 top up youll know because giff gaff comes up on your phone and your balance shows on your 'my giff gaff' page. from here... from here click 'my account'  and you phone number is shown at the top of the info on that page..

it's as simple as that..

as well as in My giffgaff as cescribed above, there's also a welcome email which includes your number

Or as with any handset, just dial *#100#

And discover that your number is Unknown Service Code.  Perhaps it's another thing to be implemented later?

whats that *#100# thing?? whats it meant to do coz it comes up with unknown service code on my o2 number as well.. think that tip needs revision

This doesn't apply on all networks (in fact only Vodafone and the brands on it)
