Youtube not working on the Sony ericsson w950i

I just got this phone a week ago even though its a 06 phone I reckon it rivals the Iphone still...... But when I got it  the videos on youTube never played in fullscreen so I went about upgrading and stuff to its final 09 firmware and got the full screen working for videos stored on the phone however youTube refuses to play videos now. From other forums I have managed to gather that it might be something to do with my security setting although I do not know which one, someone mention it could be as easy as entering your ip into a option called the dmz server however, since my ip changes every login I don't see how this could work and also can not find the option I have a brief knowledge of this type of phone or any for that matter but have a good grasp of things so please do not be hesitant to ask me any info u would need in assisting me

Thanks Guys......hoping for replys

Re: Youtube not working on the Sony ericsson w950i

It is possible that you do not have Flash installed on your phone.

Also you may need to give the videos a little extra time to load (after all no phone is faster than your computer).

If this does not work then i would suggest that you e-mail sony ericsson. The address can be found on the website. The problem will most likely be the phone itself.

Hope that i could help.

Plz give me some kudo thingys.:smileyvery-happy:

Re: Youtube not working on the Sony ericsson w950i

Alright, most phone has browsers but they do not run flash programs and other video setting which are embedded in a website. Skyfire is one of few (if not only) browser that aloows flash videos to work. Thus you can watch videos website such as Youtibe and Dailymotion in it. However, I doubt that it will work on your phone

On the other hand, there is an app which you can download which might get this sorted for you. Also try Coreplayer which usually has youtube as part of the player tab
