Hello, I have tried that:
step 1 and 2, but I can not save the APN because the application force closes. Do you know how to solve that? I have a Samsung Galaxy S GT-190003

To resolve this issue:
1. Connect to Wi-Fi and search Google Play for an app called 'APN Backup & Restore', then download and install it
2. Run 'APN Backup & Restore', select 'Delete APNs', then select 'Yes' at the warning, then 'Close' on the "Delete Succeeded" message
3. Press the 'Back' key until you return to your home screen, then turn off your WiFi connection, and restart your handset.
You should now be able to enter your internet settings manually. For info, the process for this is:
From the home screen, press the Menu key and select Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks > Access Point Names
If there are any APN settings listed here, delete them all, so you can start again from scratch.
Press the Menu key and select New APN, then enter the following details:
MMSC: http:// mmsc.mediamessaging.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy: 188.8.131.52
MMS Port: 8080
Press the Menu key and select Save, then tap the circle next to giffgaff so a green dot appears (this makes sure the APN settings are active).
Have a quick check under Settings > Wireless and Networks > Mobile Networks and make sure 'Use Packet Data' is selected.
Press the Back key until you return to the home screen, then restart your handset.
If you have access to a WiFi connection, then download and install the 'giffgaffAPN' App from Google Play and this will install the settings for both internet and MMS.
