Phone settings

Ever since you crashed the other day I haven't  been receiving any internet which will expire tonight I haven't received my full benefits.  When I try to access my 3G iphone its telling me could not activate mobile data network and that I am not subscribed to a mobile data service I did not have this problem before until then.  It wont allow me to go into my email stating that I have to go into account settings, and phone settings and I haven't a clue how to do this.

I would be grateful for some assistance.

Look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Re: Phone settings

Try texting the word ‘SETTINGS’ to 2020. This is free of charge and should setup the settings for you without any hassle on most handsets.

Re: Phone settings

iOS 5.1 update changes some phone settings which can make it fail to work. To use an iPhone on the network, first, DON'T try texting SETTINGS to 2020, because it doesn't work, so try manually entering these settings:

Select Settings > General > Network > Mobile Data Network (or Cellular Data Network)

Cellular Data
APN: giffgaff.com
Username: giffgaff
Password: password

Visual Voicemail
giffgaff don't support this yet, so leave it blank

MMS
APN: giffgaff.com
Username: giffgaff
Password: password
MMSC: http://mmsc-ac.mms.o2.co.uk:10021/mmsc
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195:8080
MMS Max Message Size: 2097152
MMS UA Prof URL: leave this blank

Have a quick check to make sure that the option for Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data is set to 'On', then restart your handset and it should be sorted, however, if you have any further issues, there are guides at:
