email and bbm set up on blackberry curve 9320

hi, ive texted settings to 2020 and got the "we're having trouble dealing with your request..."

Am not technically minded but can someone help me find out how to activate email and bbm?

When i try to set up email it says "Activation request failed. A service connection is unavailable." I have 3G.

Any ideas?

Blackberry Users

Please Have a Read For A Full Explanation.. http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Contribute-Innovation-Promotion/Blackberry/m-p/3669837

Extra Info

*Want the Add-on*

The Blackberry add-on must be
brought at the same time as buying your goodybag and they cannot be bought separately.

*No BB Add-on* See Below

If you've just got payg credit or a 10.00 + goodybag without the add-on then you can still use the internet with the settings below but you need to download opera mini mobile internet browser for your mobile phone and then you should be sorted...

Blackberry Internet Settings

Go to your home screen and select (Options)

Then Select (Device)

Then Select Advanced System Settings > (TCP/IP)

Then Enter the APN : giffgaff.com
user name: giffgaff
password: password > just type the word password (not your giffgaff password)

Press the BB Menu key and select (Save)

* Then make sure giffgaff is set as default for your wap settings *

Re: email and bbm set up on blackberry curve 9320

To activate the blackberry services.
You need to have the GPRS, EDGE or 3G in Capital
Letters (top right hand corner of the screen)
If not, then you need to pull the battery out and
restart.
Once in Capitals
Then go to
Options
Advanced Options
Host Routing Table
Hightlight the GPRS UK from the list of entries
Press the blackberry button, then select Register
Now
Options
Device
Advanced System Settings
Host Routing Table
Highlight the GPRS UK from the list of entries
Press the blackberry button, then select Register
Now
You will then receive a text message: Blackberry
Registration, your handheld has now been
registered on the wireless network.
This will resolve 95% of any blackberry issues.
Battery Pull and doing the host routing table as
above.
