I have activated my GiffGaff Sim and am in the process of transferring my old mobile number. The transfer day is tomorrow. I am unsure how to set up the internet on my blackberry Curve phone. I have paid for a £5 goody bag today. Does anybody know how to set internet on a blackberry. Is it not working because I am in the process of transferring my number tomorrow? I text 2020 to giffgaff and they responded with go to http:giff.ly/gg_blackberry but this address doesn't show much. Can anybody help?

Ideally you need to have set up the BBM add on for it to work and unfortunately you can only buy the add on when you buy your goodybag so you cannot get this for a month.
To use a Blackberry without the add-on (although the add-on is recommended because it solves many issues and only costs three quid) it is first necessary to manually configure the APN settings.
For OS 4 or 5 (8520,9300,9700,9780): From the Home screen, Options > Advanced Options > TCP
User Name: giffgaff
Then Menu Key and Save.
For OS 6 or 7 (9900,9800,9860,9360): Trackpad button > Open Tray Select Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > TCP/IP
User Name: giffgaff
Then BB Menu key and Save.
To access the web from this point on, you should download and use the Opera Mini browser, and there are also several other functions that need to be worked around, such as (but not limited to) Gmail and FaceBook, which is one reason why the add-on is recommended. You should be aware that BBM and push e-mails won't work without the Blackberry add-on.

For blackberrys with no service try this,
APN - Access Point Name: giffgaff.com
Login - Username: giffgaff
#1) Open menu
#2) Go to options / settings
#3) Click device
#4) Scroll down to advanced system settings and click
#5) Scroll down and click TCP IP
#6) Tick apn settings enabled
#7) Type APN: giffgaff.com
#8) Make sure APN authentication enabled is ticked
#9) In username for apn type giffgaff
#10) In password for apn type password
Then, hit blackberry button and save.
Once this is done pull battery out for 20-30 seconds and insert again, When it has loaded your blackberry should be completely up and running for internet and blackberry messenger and other blackberry apps.
Hope I provided you with a solution
