Re: push email

not at all? I thought it was just the ones where you had to pay a fee to receive. It's not encrypted...

Giffgaff natively do not support push e-mail, but you can use third party apps without any problem.

On Nokia - I am using EMOZE and on Android K9 without any probelm at all.

Is this your phone?

Doesn't say in the specs about e-mail.

Do you have native e-mail app in the phone?

Re: push email

I'm not completely sure as I pick my 02 one up tomorrow but my partner got one yesterday and it had one, but it wanted to charge on orange. (but I'm pretty sure they'd charge you for using your own handset if they could)

Re: push email

Don't we?

I've an iPhone 4 and a yahoo email address. I selected push in settings and my email comes through immediately exactly like when i was previously on Vodafone.

Don't know if that helps, but push works for me!

Yes Orange will charge you to use (I guess £5 a month for Orange mail)

But if it you can setup e-mail on O2, I guess it should work on Giffgaff as well.
