I dont think that is correct as I make calls with the 0 included. so you will dial 0800xxxxxx.

Let me know if that works...

Re: talk talk 0800 number

you don't need to drop the 0 on GG... could it be the handset limiting it???

Cheers - ZM

I don't work for GiffGaff, I'm just a very happy customer! Views expressed above are my own personal views are not necessarily those of giffgaff.

Re: talk talk 0800 number

hey..when you add 0 before the 800 does your balance go down as far as i know you are supposed to drop the 0 infront of the 0800 number according to some threads..thanks

No charge (dialled either way)

What happened is that originally dropping the leading 0 was necessary, then at some stage dialling it with the 0 in front was enabled.

Some numbers can be dialled either way at the moment, but not all of them, as you've found.

Using the 0 in front is intended as the long-term position.

Re: talk talk 0800 number

Just a thought but .... have you tried calling the same 0800 number/s from a landline, so that you know they are still valid numbers ?

Alternatively, have you successfully dialled any other 0800 number from your giffgaff 'phone ?

Re: talk talk 0800 number

Guys we used to need to drop the 0 before dialling 0800 numbers but this isn't required anymore- it is now possible to just call straight the 0800
