You can create bookmarks and subscriptions to any thread on the gg forums.
Here's how:
At the top lefthand corner of any thread there are the topic options
There you can select to Bookmark the topic you are interested in. Or subscribe to it. Or even float it to the top, (it will only show floated just for you).
You can manage all your subscriptions and bookmarked topics under 'My Community Settings'
And there you can find a whole range of options to suit your needs.
