Important: mistake in MMS (picture messaging pricing)

In the pricing table published yesterday we state that MMS (Picture Messaging) is free between giffgaff numbers. This is a mistake.

The correct price is 16p per MMS message for giffgaff to giffgaff MMS's.

We apologise for this mistake. The pricing table has been updated to show the correct price.

That's a shame, at that price it's cheaper to have a 6"x4" picture printed!

I agree with "Skier".

It appears the main selling point here is "free" communication between giffgaffers, so why isolate MMS's for charges?:smileymad:

To another network, fair enough!

But this mantra of free giff 2 giff falls apart here.

If same network video calls are free, I certainly would think MMS's should be.

Peace to All.:smileyhappy:

Kudos appreciated! (obviously) lol

Agreed too !!

The" free between users" concept should extend to MMS at least till May 2010 when data prices are reviewed.

Keep the marketing message SIMPLE during the important new customer acquisition phase!

Re: Important: mistake in MMS (picture messaging pricing)

I also seen the free picture messaging on the original price list, I was waiting until I brought a new phone on o2 before returning to request a giff gaff sim mainly because I wanted Picture Messaging between me and my partner . As Giff Gaff are now charging for this then I may as well stick with the o2 sim I got with my new phone as I can get free picture messaging on o2 family and the other person can also picture message me back .

Shame the MMS made all the difference to the Giff Gaff offering.
