I have a HTC Desire phone and it won't install any more apps due to insufficient storage.
However when I try to move apps on to the SD card through settings,it doesn't do it because the option is greyed out. The odd thing is that I already have three apps saved on the SD card, so I can't understand why it won't allow me to move more onto it. The SD card has plenty of space on it.
Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hi, as far as I know, there're 2 possible reasons. 1: Your android system need to be updated to newer version, some old versions (quite old, like 2.1) don't accept app moving. 2: Many apps can't be moved to SD card, especially pre-installed apps. Try to clean your storage, removing temporary files and unnecessary apps. Hope it helps.

Alternatively if you fancied rooting your phone to gain more space, I walked another member through the process a while ago:

There's another way to do it without rooting:
It won't move everything but will allow you to move some where the option was greyed out. I've used this for both of my daughters phones and it works fine.
