cost effective how this is a no brainer if ive ever seen it, why can every single mobile operator in Ireland (even small networks) allow you to top up a fiver, i seriously suggest you look into this again, think of the amount of people who may be in a situation similar to mine who have a fiver and need credit but cant top up

I find this totally bizzare business practice from GG, there is money to be made here and your effectively saying no

Judging by the overwhelming response on this thread looking for £5 minimum top ups surely GG have to implement this.

Cost factor for each transaction? How can Orange offer mini top ups from up to 10p?

So, do I have to top up then just to get my £5 free credit??? All advertisments say free sim card = free £5. I went to activate it but...card details...confused!!

@hazel i dont get this reason, you can buy a bag by card for £5, top up a non recruit sim by £5 so why not a normal top up? People may top up more if they can bang a fiver on so surly its good for giffgaff? Plus you make more from payg rates than you do a goodybag so it should be more cost effective for giffgaff than a bag purchase at a fiver.

If £5 topups aren't allowed, SIMs shouldn't expire after 6 months.

I honestly think there should be a £5 credit  only option as this would be useful for small things like going over your internet but still wanting to use it or wanting to message a friend abroad. Also more options such as 5/7 GB for gigabags would be nice.

no there's not going to be a £5 top up. its a minimum £10 just like o2 and 3

I think we should be allowed to top up £5 credit as minimum instead of £10.

I needed to send my dad a selection of 4 MMS messages and had to top up airtime credit to do this.

I didn't need the full £10 and now I have credit on my SIM that I don't need and probably won't use.

Topping up £5 would have been easier and more convenient for me.

Please consider this.
