I been in giffgaff from November 2009, and I love the fact that we are helping each other out. And what a quick response! Much more handier than call centres where we have to call up Birmingham, which then forwards their call to Inida, who then have to call up NASA, who then calls the President ! And finally he replies back to the call centre, who then informs us there is nothing we can do about
So overall, giffgaffers are doing their best to help others, however I feel that they are not getting the reward in the end, as some people tend to be reluctant to press "Accepted Solution". What I am proposing is :
- To automatically remind them to accept the solution if there is an answer provided, and they left the tread and not responded to it for a long time.
- And/Or to adopt the method which Yahoo Answers use, which is opening the voting to the public (other giffgaffers).
All this is to bring up the self-esteem a person gets for answering a question, and answering it right.

Could do, but personally I think priority goes to quality of information resource - wiki rather than forum is best place for that. Could be that useful info is overlooked, or lots of duplication.
It may be a case of putting this in an uncategorised section of the wiki and community can sort out tidying it up etc. Anyhow, main credit should go to the person posting the accepted solution and cut and paste of an accepted soluton is trivial - and if support team already reviewing and marking as such, it seems to make sense to be done then.
Lots of other ways to earn, and creating inefficiency just to give an added opportunity doesn't make much sense.
