Blackberry Set Up

For anybody that has bought the blackberry add on.

To activate the blackberry services.

You need to have the GPRS, EDGE or 3G in Capital Letters (top right hand corner of the screen)

If not, then you need to pull the battery out and restart.

Once in Capitals

Then go to

Options

Advanced Options

Host Routing Table

Hightlight the GPRS UK from the list of entries

Press the blackberry button, then select Register Now

Options

Device

Advanced System Settings

Host Routing Table

Highlight the GPRS UK from the list of entries

Press the blackberry button, then select Register Now

You will then receive a text message: Blackberry Registration, your handheld has now been registered on the wireless network.

This will resolve 95% of any blackberry issues. Battery Pull and doing the host routing table as above.

Re: Blackberry Set Up

What is giffgaff coming to ? First it allowed Iphone and now BB users. The place is sure going down the tubes pandering to the young beautiful techie folk with more money than sense. I joined giffgaff as it was a place of comfort for us slipper wearing types. :smileywink:

Without iPhone and Blackberry customers giffgaff would probably be bankrupt by now...

Re: Blackberry Set Up

Blackberry and Iphone are the biggest selling phones, they are the main market out today, thus them phone users make giff gaff money. And its good that giff gaff have finally brought out their giffgaff add on for blackberry, as the frustration of bb users have finally gone :smileyvery-happy:

If you thought my little paragraph made any sense at all, please give me some kudos :smileyhappy:
