New here so hope I'm posting in the right place. We currently have an affiliates section, but what about turnkey affiliate storefronts where we can add our own branding and purchase domain names for them? I work in the web hosting industry and this is commonly the case, so how about giffgaff doing the same? White label order pages, but maybe in the footers there could be some sort of disclaimer to say trading with Giff Gaff.
What do others think?
I've seen that people can win giffgaff mugs, t-shirts, pens, earphones and even popcorn. And I know that these items are exclusive to people and are only winnable. But I think that people should be able to buy them! But giffgaff customers could get themselves a 5 or 10% discount off the items that they want to buy. The money raised from merchandise could even be sent to charity.
It could even provide business to sole traders. A trader could sell a giffgaff t-shirt or mug. And then the profits can go to the trader if they pay for the wholesale items first.
Thanks for reading.
Shouldn't the email and news feed indicate the type of sim ordered
• will save postage
• will save cost of a sim
When I was on Vodaphone you could use a short code and the network would text you back the last incoming caller's number. This is very useful if your phone is switched off (could be intentional or due to a flat battery) or in an area that has no coverage. Also for me my phone periodically when an incoming call arrives it won't properly come out of 'sleep', I can't at this point accept the call and the system doesn't log it as a missed call. With the short code Vodaphone use you could just pick the last incoming call up at their server, so you could then call them back. It would be great if GiffGaff could adopt a similar code.
I have been getting busy recently with handing out sims and when the new update letting us order sim in boxes came to our order page I thought great but now not so great as unlike when you order the 1/2/3 packs once activated you get to re order the sim again to hand out rather then wait till you allownce refills end of month but the sim in boxes do not do this even tho now you can order from the same place as the others.
My actiation rate is great averaging about 1 in 3ish but the past 2 weeks I have had no sims at all to give out as (yeah in a few days I can get more) but I am getting lots of people still asking me for sims
common giffgaf I'm sure its a simple thing to do
PS I have a very high allownce and don't think they will increase it more :s
I have posted a copy of what I put on the blog here in the hope it may get some support and get the number of T Shirts increased.
I like many would like to be able to help out but don't have the available cash, if you read the following and agree it may be a way many of us could help out...................................
I'm sure if a pop up shop was opened with just the MIND T Shirts in it many people would buy them with their payback, it would be a nice way of using something that most people wont miss for an incredibly worthy cause.
If giffgaff can do this I will put my name to a shirt and I would also be happy to have the T Shirt given to a member of Mind. this way my little bit of payback can hopefully do a lot of good.
I think it would be really good if giffgaff donated some sim cards with pre loaded credit to the troops in Afghanistan and other places so that they could keep in touch with loved ones back home to show our support, perhaps people could donate from their pay back?
Please get rid of the welcome to giffgaff intro that you hear every time you call your voicemail. I know you're trying to be welcoming but it gets a tad annoying/boring when you've heard it umpteen times.
I just want to call my VM and get my messages.
Giffgaff member since April. Have discovered Goody bags only valid in UK. Want to use my phone abroad. Took ages to find the information on what I should do! (Auto top up and add credit).
Would it not be a good idea, as I gather other people have trouble locating this information, if there was a link on the home screen, to save people having to trawl the Community as I had to do?
Customer services over the phone via an 0906 number costing £1.50 per minute from BT landlines, perfect for emergencies especially when you want to report your phone lost or stolen. GiffGaff is the new Genie from O2 and operated in this way as it was an online service.
Free sponsored automated directory enquiries for GiffGaff and O2 customers similar to 118FREE which could operate alongside 118402 O2 directory enquiries.
GiffGaff TUGO in addition to O2 and BT's offering.
Bring back 1471! It used to give you a bit more in-depth information about where calls originated.
@giffgaff I think there shud be a goody with unlimited internet which allows tethering. Coz' there are many people hu want all 3 with tether

Hi Guys, Im a big fan of all things giffgaff & have been for years now, unfortunately your gigabags dont have much to offer against T Mobile's data only SIMs, where you can get 2GB for just £10...
just wondered if giffgaff had any plans to improve their gigabags in the near future? I dont really want to move to another provider!
ok so i was reading an intresting topic and it has at least 45pages (still on-going)
I read the first several posts and and decided to give him a reply. however, my response was already made by someone else making mine redundant. (quite bad really, yet I don't want to really go through all 45 pages just to see if anyone else came up with it)
So perhaps to solve this is create a search/find in topic options.
also its not always convient to go communities>preferences>topic layout
to change the number of posts in a topic.
I think that should should also be in the topic options
Hi folks, I was just reading through some info about GiffGaff selling handsets and had an idea which may or may not work.
I remember buying a phone many years ago and for an extra few quid I got given a car charger, cover, handsfree kit (back in the good old days of a wire with an earphone and a microphone) and some other bits and pieces. Although most of that is outdated now because of many modern cars having iPod connectivity and bluetooth as standard it could be a nice idea to have a phone bundle with a pack of 5 screen protectors, silicone cover and even a 12v to USB adapter for the car?
All the above items are cheap to buy (and would be even cheaper if bought in bulk) and would make a nice package for anyone buying a phone. I know if I was given the option to buy it all at once I would.
the dream upgrade for the £5 goodybag
-100 free text (yes, a reduction)
for every non GG user that calls you per min= 1 cookie
cookie can be automatically converted to:
1 cookie= 1min free call time
1 cookie= 1 free text
1 cookie= 1MB of free data
On 02, whenever you ring someone and the call is free, a woman says 'free call'. And if it isn't, then it just rings normally. I would like this to be implemented on to giffgaff. This would be a great feature to have as it would make you more comfortable if a call is free or not.
Hi, I sometimes like to spread the cost of my purchases over different cards (i.e. sometime I use my debit card, other times I use my Credit card- depending on my circumstances that month). Anyway, I noticed that with some sites, such as Amazon, they allow you to store a couple (or more) Debit and/or Credit Cards, giving us the option to choose which one we pay with (as well as having a Default one, in case you don't really care which one at the time).
Would it be possible to have this multiple card option for My Payment Details in "My giffgaff", or am I being too picky?
Just a thought/idea?
