Blakberry's will be able to make calls and send texts but internet and data access is not available as their is no BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) available on giffgaff.
Data in the UK is free until October 1st for all - during that period of time data roaming will not be available at all.
Your activation code doesn't have any "0" or "O" they are all "Q" - some might not be clearly printed
If the page after entering your activation code goes on loading for more than 30 seconds just click on "My giffgaff" and you should find your SIM is activated and your credit is waiting for you.
Type *100# to check your balance.
Type *100*7# to get your remaining balance (helpful for goodybags)
Your Giffgaff SIM's PIN is 5555. The PIN2 is 6666. If you need your PUK code you can get it here
To listen to voicemail call 443 - default voicemail PIN is 8705. -Do not attempt to do this on a Google Nexus One as you will be routed to emergency services (999 call) - use hullomail as a replacement.
To get your data settings just let them come on their own, you can also send SETTINGS to 2020 or you can type them in manually (search for settings specific to your model or use these settings)
The Giffgaff SMS messaging centre number is +447802002606
You can call 1471 to know if you missed a call.
Type *0# at the beginning of a text if you want to have a delivery notification.
Type #31# before typing a phone number too hide your number on a per call basis
Type *#06# to get your handset's IMEI.
Call #004# to disable voicemail and *004# to re-activate voicemail
Also, seeing that there is plenty of data allowance, you could also try setting up HulloMail which is an interesting alternative voicemail service.
You can either use your phone's menu or type these into your phone to enable call forwarding/divert
*67*number to divert to # and press call to set busy divert
*61*number to divert to # and press call to set no answer divert
*62*number to divert to # and press call to set unavailable / no coverage divert
*21*number to divert to # and press call to set divert immediately.
Type ##002# and press call to clear all diverts.
You can only have 1 SIM/account. Your SIM cannot be used in a dongle nor can you do any tethering.
You will find your giffgaff phone number in the "My giffgaff" area.
Clone SIMs are not availble from Giffgaff but you can set up a conditional calls forward to another giffgaff SIM which would be free if you top up 10£/3 month.

To bring over your current phone number:
Order your SIM and activate it
Once that's done, you'll need:
-your PAC code
-the phone number your porting in
-Mobile number for new giffgaff SIM card
-SIM serial number for new giffgaff SIM card
ask an agent here (you'll need to be logged in and activated to do this ) and give them all the details above
During the day your number is ported you will have intermittent service during a couple of hours however it should all be solved by the end of the day - it is advised to try and port numbers from monday to thursday's only

- Bar GPRS (incl MMS)
- Adult Content (websites)
- Premium & International Bar
As a side note on pricing - calling 0500 and 0808 numbers is also free
Voicemail is not free - if you have a goodybag with minutes included then each voicemail call will deduct ONE minute from your allowance. If you don't have a goodybag (or you have the £5 one) then it is 8p PER CALL.
don't answer calls from 02202 - they are scammers
