Our Credit Report is almost ready and we want to make sure we absolutely nail it.
That is why we’re asking for some help from you all to help us test it.
A credit report is a quick way to assess your financial health. It basically takes into consideration the same factors that financial services providers check when deciding whether or not to grant you that loan or mortgage that you requested.
It considers things such as previous loans you’ve taken out and how well you’ve done at paying them back in time or how on top of your other bills you currently are.
We want to be absolutely sure that the journey you go through to achieve your Credit Report is as easy and smooth as possible.
So for those of you interested in finding out your current financial health status, it would be incredibly useful if you would join our pilot programme and let us know how it went afterwards.
Requesting a Credit Report won’t affect your current credit score as it only performs a soft credit check.
Very simple. All you need is a registered giffgaff account.
Within one working day, you will receive your login details and a quick questionnaire for you to fill in after you have received your report (nothing too long, just some basic questions to help us check if everything works and is easy to go through).
From there, all you need to do is go through the credit report using the link we send you to get your free Credit Report, fill in the questionnaire and send it back to @juan_p.

Free Credit Report and Credit Score - Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions relate only to the Callcredit Consumer Limited (“Callcredit”) credit report and credit score services made available to members of giffgaff Limited (“giffgaff”) via giffgaff.com (“Services”). The Services are described in paragraph 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
Callcredit will be providing the Services to you. Callcredit’s company number is 7891157 and its registered office is at One Park Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS3 1EP. In order for Callcredit to be able to provide the Services to you, Callcredit needs to obtain your credit report information held in its group company Callcredit Limited’s credit reference database. Callcredit Limited’s company number is 3961870 and its registered office is also at One Park Lane, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS3 1EP.
Callcredit Consumer Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. giffgaff is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Authorisation can be checked on the Financial Services Register at www.fca.org.uk.
In these Terms and Conditions, "we", "us" and "our" refers to giffgaff, and "you" and "your" refers to
the giffgaff member who is accessing the Service.
If you want to access the Services, you need to accept these Terms and Conditions. By clicking ‘Next’ you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Our Contract with You
1.1. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply the Services to you. These Terms and Conditions form a contractual relationship between us and you.
1.2. The giffgaff.com website is operated by giffgaff and is provided to you by giffgaff. The Services are provided to you by Callcredit. Your access to and use of the Services is also subject to giffgaff’s general terms and conditions, available here.
2. Changes to these Terms and Conditions or the Services
2.1. We may change these Terms and Conditions or your access to the Services at any time. We will keep these Terms and Conditions up-to-date at www.giffgaff.com/money/free_credit_report. If we make a significant change, we’ll contact you to let you know or post information on our Forum. The changes will take effect when they are posted on the website.
2.2. If you don’t want to continue to be a giffgaff member or to continue to receive the Services then you can cancel your membership by letting us know in writing by e-mail to email@example.com.
3. Eligibility & Registration
3.1. Before you can use the Services, you must apply to register on www.giffgaff.com/money/free_credit_report/application.
After we have received your application for the Services we will review it and let you know as soon as we can whether you have been accepted as a user of the Services. Please note that not everyone that applies for the Services will be accepted as a user.
3.2. We do not have to notify you why you have not been accepted as a user of the Services but one reason for this may be that, at the time you make your application, either we or Callcredit may have been unable to match your personal details to the correct credit report. Callcredit is constantly seeking to improve its matching service and if it is subsequently able to match you to the correct credit report Callcredit may invite you to be a user of the Services.
3.3. You may only register for, use and have access to the Services if you are:
3.3.1. Over 18 years of age;
3.3.2. A giffgaff member
3.3.3. Registering on your own behalf for personal non-commercial use; and
3.3.4. Resident in the United Kingdom.
3.4. You may only use and access the Services on your own behalf and not on behalf of
anyone else. You should be aware that you cannot order credit information about anyone else from this website.
3.5. Once we have received your application for the Services we will send you an automated acknowledgement. This is purely for acknowledgement purposes and is not an agreement from us to provide you with the Services or any other service.
4. The Services
PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY AS IT EXPLAINS WHAT THE SERVICES ARE AND WHAT EXCLUSIONS APPLY
4.1. Once we accept your application for the Services, you will receive the following Services for free and on the terms and conditions as set out in this Agreement:
4.1.1. Credit Report
Your credit report will be provided to you. The credit report will be updated monthly. You will also receive a monthly email and a fortnightly newsletter as part of this service.
4.1.2. Credit Score
Your most recent credit score will be provided to you. Your credit score is an indicator of how good your credit history and likelihood of getting credit is. This will be made available to you online and will be updated monthly. Credit Rating
Callcredit will carry out an assessment of your credit rating based on the information that it holds about you. This rating will be available to you online and will be based on your history of borrowing and repayment.
4.2. Once you have applied for the Services and have been accepted, you will be given immediate access to the relevant Services on http://www.giffgaff.com/money and you will start to receive those Services immediately.
4.3. Whilst we will try to make sure that the Services are available for use as much as possible neither we nor Callcredit can guarantee its availability. You will appreciate that the Services may need to be suspended from time to time for maintenance. Callcredit will try to do this at times when it is expecting low usage but cannot guarantee that this will be the case. No software provider can fully guarantee that its website and/or content is completely virus and bug free, but you should be aware that Callcredit is committed to trying to make the Services as virus and bug free as it can. You should therefore use virus checking software.
4.4. It is important to us that the information supplied to you is as accurate as possible and we use our reasonable efforts to verify its accuracy. We cannot guarantee that it is completely accurate, however. Also, as you will appreciate some of this information comes from Callcredit and other businesses, who get the information from other sources themselves such as the electoral roll, insurance companies or financial institutions. Neither Callcredit, ourselves nor any other third parties used to provide the Services have any control over the content of such information and are not responsible if it turns out to be inaccurate.
4.5. To provide the Services to you, we need to obtain your credit report information held in Callcredit’s credit reference database. By applying for the Services you agree that we can use your credit report and personal data information in this way.
4.6. You will appreciate that information provided to you in connection with the Services is given for your guidance and information only. Any businesses who carry out credit searches on you will take information from a number of sources and use their own criteria in making decisions based on it. You should not rely on the information we provide to you and we cannot be responsible or liable to you if you do rely on it or take any action based upon it.
4.7. You acknowledge and request that the Services will be provided before the expiry of the 14 day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you wish to cancel your access to the Service you may ask for your registered details to be removed from the Service.
5. Information about you
5.2. Credit providers, and credit reference agencies (which includes agencies such as Experian and Callcredit), analyse key elements of your credit file, including the electoral roll and shared credit performance data, to assist with determining your current financial situation. If you have a financial associate, their data may also be used. Your credit score will be used by giffgaff to identify product offers that may be appropriate for your circumstances (however, this does not guarantee that there will be appropriate product offers available to you). You will then have the opportunity to apply for the product via https://www.giffgaff.com/money/compare. It is important to note that there may be other products available from lenders who are not represented by this service. We receive a payment if you choose to take out a product, but this does not influence the suggestions we provide to you.
5.3. The source of County Court Judgement (CCJ) data is Callcredit Limited.
5.4. If you choose to proceed to apply for a product from the list of offers referred to in
clause 5.2 above, the supplier you choose will carry out its own identification and credit checks as part of its ordinary application process. We will not provide your credit file to any third party credit provider at any point during this process (unless you subsequently agree to provide that information to them). When information about you is requested from a credit reference agency, it will place a search of the request on your credit file, whether or not you decide to apply for the product. This will be marked as a “quotation” search in the name of the credit reference agency. Credit reference agencies may also use the information for statistical purposes, or supply it to other organisations such as fraud prevention agencies who may use it for checking identity, preventing fraud, tracing and the collection of debt. In some cases your information may be shared with lenders to check whether you are an existing customer, which may affect whether you are eligible for the lenders’ other products.
6. Duration of Services and your right of cancellation
6.1. We will automatically continue to provide the Services until they are cancelled in one of the ways set out below.
6.2. If a matter of urgency (e.g. if you think that someone has got access to your password) please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org.
6.3. We may cancel your membership to giffgaff and cancel your access to any of the Services:
• because of your misuse of the Services. Misuse of the Services means use of the Services in a way which is not permitted by these Terms and Conditions or there is fraud; or
if we stop providing the Services or the website; or
if you do not access the Services at least once in every three consecutive calendar months.
6.4. We may also cancel your receipt of any of the Services if (i) you have ceased to be a giffgaff customer or (ii) our agreement with Callcredit comes to an end.
6.5. You may cancel your access to any of the Services if you no longer wish to receive them. You may cancel them by sending a request to email@example.com.
7.1. Your right to access the Services is personal to you. You must not allow any other person to have access to your account on website or the Services using your username and password. You must keep your username and password confidential.
7.2. We reserve the right to suspend your access to the website and the Services if at any time we consider that there is or is likely to be a breach of security or your use of the website is in any way detrimental to us or anyone else.
7.3. We reserve the right to require you to change any or all of the passwords used by you in connection with giffgaff’s website or the Services.
7.4. You may take reasonable copies of the information or reports provided as part of the Services solely for your own personal use. You may not use it on a commercial basis or provide it to anyone else. You may not sell it on, republish it, redistribute it, copy (except as permitted above) or adapt it.
8. Our liability to you
PLEASE READ THIS PARAGRAPH CAREFULLY AS IT EXPLAINS WHAT LIABILITY WE HAVE TO YOU AND WHAT EXCLUSIONS APPLY
8.1. There are certain things which we agree we will not exclude or limit our liability to you for. These are:
liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
any other liability which we cannot limit or exclude under law.
8.2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
8.3. Subject to paragraph 9.1 and 9.2 above, we cannot be responsible to you for loss or damage or any other liability. If we breach these Terms and Conditions or are negligent in providing the Services we will only be responsible for loss or damage that you suffer which is foreseeable; i.e. which is a likely result of our breach or negligence in providing the Services.
9.1. You authorise us to use and disclose, in the United Kingdom, information about (i) you, your use of the Service and (ii) how you conduct your account and providing you with the Service or as required under law to our associated companies or agents, any telecommunications company, debt collection agency or credit reference agency. You agree that the information may be used by other parties in assessing applications for credit from you and members of your household and for debt tracing, credit management and may be used by us or other parties for crime and fraud detection and prevention.
9.2. By agreeing to receive these Services, you also agree to the information described in Clause 10.1 being used by us, the other parties identified in Clause 10.1, and selected third parties for marketing purposes including amongst other things to identify and offer you further products, services and offers which we think might interest you.

10. How to contact us
10.1. If you have any questions in connection with the Services, please contact us. You can contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If your query relates to data that Callcredit holds, or if giffgaff is unable to resolve your query, we may refer your query to Callcredit. If your query is about the credit report, or credit rating part of the Services, you can contact Callcredit directly via http://www.callcredit.co.uk/contact-us/consumer-enquiries.
10.2. In the event that there is an unexpected result in your credit report or you feel that the information is not correct you should raise a query by using the online process which can be accessed via your credit report. This will raise a dispute with the credit reference agency run by Callcredit Limited. Resolution of disputes referred to Callcredit will be at Callcredit’s sole discretion and communicated by giffgaff to you (unless otherwise agreed between the parties, such agreement to be on a case-by-case basis). Callcredit will communicate the resolution of each dispute to you.
10.3. How to complain: If you have any complaints in relation to the Services then please contact us by email in the first instance at email@example.com.
10.4. Complaints Procedure: We have a complaint-handling process which includes alternative dispute resolution (a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court). If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to contact the alternative dispute resolution provider we use. You can submit a complaint to Financial Ombudsman Services. Financial Ombudsman Services will not charge you for making a complaint and if you are not satisfied with the outcome you can still bring legal proceedings. 11.1. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that all Intellectual Property rights in the Service and all aspects of them shall be owned Callcredit and/or its Licensor/s (including giffgaff, as applicable).
11.2. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the Services or otherwise perform any obligation under these Terms and Conditions if the delay or failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11.3. If any portion of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority (such as a court) to be invalid or unenforceable (either wholly or in part) the validity or enforceability of the other portions of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected.
11.4. These Terms and Conditions do not give any rights to anyone who is not a party to them.
11.5. These Terms and Conditions and your use of giffgaff’s website and Services shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales in relation to any disputes arising out of or in connection those matters.
