I'm heading down to London this weekend to visit a friend. Do you have any suggestions of what we could do? (Either for free or reasonably priced)
I've visited a few times and enjoy the free galleries and museums. Have any stood out for you? I thinking of checking out the V&A this time around...
I look forward to hearing your thoughts! 🙂
Natural History has got the new whale exibit.
Science Museum is always fun.
Tate Modern is usually - interesting.
Paid for, Tower Bridge Experience is good. Starts on the north of Thames, you go up to the top and walk across the glassed in galleries, with great views. Then as you go down the other side you get dioramas and films telling you the story of how it was built and if it is not due to open, you get right down into the counterweight chambers, which are pretty impressive.
HMS Belfast is a sight to behold especially below decks.
Or a trip on a Thames Clipper down to Greenwich to see the Royal Naval College and the Greenwich Observatory.
