At the end of Feb 2018, Ash announced plans to add more data to our goodybags, giving members a boost should they run out. Well, great news - the first stage is now live.
More data – when you need it most (a quick reminder)
Nobody likes paying for more than they need, which is why we check your usage each month and tell you the best goodybag for you. But we can all have an exceptional month, where it turns out we need more data than usual – more data for maps while traveling around? A bunch of big downloads to your phone? Dog ate your Wi-Fi?
When this happened, we want to give a helping hand to keep you connected. Once you’ve bought 3 goodybags we’ll simply boost your data by 1GB extra every month when you buy a £10, £12, £15 or £18 goodybag.
If you have bought 2 or more goodybags in the past you will instantly become eligible with your next goodybag and will keep getting this extra 1GB every time you buy another goodybag.
When can I get it?
We’re keen to get this in the hands of our members, so we’re going live as and when things come off the development conveyer belt. This extra data is now live for members with recurring goodybags.
Any recurring goodybags starting from tomorrow (29th March 2018), will automatically come with the extra 1GB included (providing you’ve bought at least 2 goodybags in the past). You don’t need to change your settings or update anything, we’ll just add it on for you.
The team are working hard to get this ready for non-recurring goodybags too and are aiming for this to be available by the end of April. If you simply can’t wait, then from tomorrow (29th March 2018) onwards, turning on recurring for your next goodybag will do the trick.
Your feedback and what happens next
We’ve made a few tweaks to how these boosted goodybags appear in your dashboard, as well as in the emails and texts we send out. We’d really love to get your feedback on all this – does the design make sense? Is the information clear? Have we missed a trick or something snazzy?
You can of course leave your comments below, but we’ve also got a 2-question survey to ask if and how you’d like to be involved with testing and feedback. Please let us know (should take 7 seconds) and we can reach out to those interested in getting involved.
We hope this extra data comes in handy for those times you need it most. We’ll keep you updated with timings for the next stage.
P.S. there is an FAQ type article in the Knowledge Base, which will keep evolving as questions crop up.
