It really is rubbish ... my iPod touch became unusable with both the app and website using any browser
My moto e3 was just about usable on the forums on app but kept glitching out
My new iPhone se is ok on the app although it’s missing a lot of editing functionality and can’t add photos unless using the website via chrome
The app continually logs out but is slightly more bearable with the touch log in as I don’t have to keep typing in passwords while the page jumps as I did on my other devices
youd think it would be worth their while sorting this vital part of giffgaff rather than continually introducing whistles and bells to the service
When Labs was first introduced, many of us looked forward to the prospect of a new platform, because we saw it as an opportunity to free ourselves of some of the limitations associated with Lithium. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the sort of things that used to irritate us about Lithium back then, now seem minor compared to what we have to contend with today. Both Labs, and now the community platform itself, lack much of the basic functionality that we used to take for granted, which is ironic for a network that has always placed a lot of emphasis on keeping things simple.
I’m sure that they’ll get it right eventually, but it can be no coincidence that the forums are a lot quieter these days, and while it’s true that people move on for a variety of reasons, the ongoing issues with the website must be a contributory factor for many.
