@kath72 My understanding is that after payback the selections reset so that there is no longer any option selected. In some cases (and it would appear that at least two who have posted in this thread have experienced this), and in spite of selecting cash for the next payback period (i.e. December to June), during those 6 months the account automatically resets itself to no selection at all - which would mean that unless someone spots this the payback would roll over, not go to charity or airtime credit.
For me, this is not an acceptable outcome. And I repeat again, I have never found myself confronted with no option selected, as I was this time. In other words, my account doesn't appear ever to have been reset before. Whenever I have checked in the past cash was always showing as the option selected.
Moral of story: always check in November that what you believe to be selected, or you have previously selected, is actually selected.
Homily: I don't agree with it, but if we are going to have payback it needs to awarded fairly and paid as members wish.
