This is gonna be a controversial one but can the new forum...
When someone clicks to submit some content can it show them their spelling errors and prompt them to correct them, (excluding usernames obviously)?
I realise this might cause issues because no spell check is gonna recognise all the words in use, especially if people use slang, but I've just seen a post, (I won't link - naming and shaming and all that, plus I don't wanna make that person feel like crap), but the spelling was another level of terrible.
Whilst posts containing such consistently terrible spelling are rare they do contribute to the public perception that this network is not to be taken seriously, (remember that these posts if seen will be considered to be the level at which your "support operatives" are at).
Seeing that post reminded me of how many others I've seen which have blatantly terrible spelling which goes far beyond the odd typo or autocorrect snafu.
Whilst I don't agree with harassing people into using spell check, whether it's us as members or you as staff, can't we use some technical method to encourage better spelling and help improve that aspect of the public perception of the company and network?
