All of which I agree with @majorincident I just can’t see the criminal offence in that particular clip or the others of the same incident.
Those harassing Soubry in the street, the comments to the police officer made by James Goddard and what went before it. There is actually a longer video leading to that threat by Goddard of war, but only a Saturday. I’m not linking it as it’s on his twitter feed. In it a man is being arrested and he repeatedly gets in the way of an officer assisting in the arrest, is told to move by said officer and then ends up on his arse. His reaction is priceless. What an utter knob. He could ve been nicked several times over yet he doesn’t realise it.
As for what happened to JRM...politicians accept that they are going to make decisions that some may not like. They may have to face protests and insults etc. It comes with the territory with most forms of public service, ask any police officer, border officer, paramedic, or pretty much anyone in a public facing role. Whilst usually unjustified there is absolutely no justification for taking it to someone’s home and dragging their kids into it.
The whole atmosphere that is being created does make you wonder where it will take us though and it’s not looking great at the moment.
