Hi all my lovely GG friends! Hope you're all having a lovely week so far!
Because it's St Valentine's Day this week, I've been making more chocolates & sculpting hearts from my homemade modelling chocolate (I'm currently making the dark ones, but they're not ready yet). Each one is sculpted from a piece of modelling chocolate & the tiny one is brushed in edible gold, so it's sparkly & shimmering (I wasn't sure this would work, but I'm pleased with the results). The shape is rounded on both sides, not flat - a bit like a heart-shaped balloon. There are moulds you can buy, but I prefer to make them this way as they are all individual & unique, just like the person receiving them.
Anyway, before I get all warm & fuzzy, here are a few pictures to brighten your day! My kitchen smells gorgeous now (shame I can't bottle that scent - eau de chocolat anyone?).
