Text message scam

It has been brought to my attention that there is a new scam going around where you receive a text message pretending to be from giffgaff stating that your sim is not activated, whatever you do . Do not click on it as it will kill the sim card.

Any genuine link sent by Giffgaff will have a giff.ly or giffgaff.com type link contained within the text.

@richard4u2 by the look of things it not only kills the sim but some have been saying that through this they have other accounts affected as well so every1 must keep vigilant !!

Hi @richard4u2 thanks for letting us know as far as I know some people are unlucky enough to have more than their sim card killed ! Not good but giffgaff are on to it and are working with other agencys to put a stop to this scam ! The sooner the better !!!
