For password security I use KeePass X in-conjunction with DropBox to sync the data base across platforms.
I use KeePass X because I use OSX and Windoze. If you just use Windoze KeePass is probably better because it has autotype but is not cross platform. I hear KeePass X will most likely get this at some point but as of now it doesnt.
KeePass X is open source and has been studied in depth by security experts who have given it a stamp of approval. To put this into perspective. If its not open source you only have a persons word that it is safe and secure. KeePass X can also be run off a USB stick so is fully portable.
Drop box offers free 2g online storage.
What you do is save your KeePass file in your dropbox folder on your pc, then when you switch to another Pc or Mac your dropbox folder syncs and your password database is updated as are all other files.
Dropbox also makes it easy to share work projects and also video files, photos etc
