Hi folks, I hope you’re all having a rather jolly day.
I have a little update that I’d like to share with you all. As some of you may have seen, we’ve added a giffgaff pioneers tag to the new community platform. This is really exciting for us because up until now, the only 2 ways we use to communicate with our giffgaff pioneers was via email and the Facebook group. Now we can easily bring these discussions on to the community platform as well, so the new tag was born.
This space will be useful for our giffgaff pioneers to take part in polls, discussions and allow staff to communicate better with them.
In short, the tag will be used to:
- Inform members what research projects we are working on with polls, surveys, discussions etc.
- Allow staff to easily communicate with members. We can maintain these friendly discussions in one space because not all staff can join in on the discussions on the facebook group.
- Share back outcomes from research to keep members in the loop and aware of what is going on between research projects.
Why create a private tag:
It's important that the group remains private for research purposes. I want to be as transparent as I can but there is some level of control needed when you’re doing market research or usability testing.
We have had projects overlap between giffgaff pioneers and you lovely folk, and we will continue to give you opportunities to get involved.
giffgaff pioneers is different to contribute:
This is really important for me and I want to reassure you all that the giffgaff pioneers tag is not a replacement to contribute. We want you to continue giving us feedback, reporting bugs, talk about ideas and take part in consultations using the contribute tag.
When Ria announced the launch of giffgaff pioneers last year, she said the project will allow more members the opportunity to get involved who don’t typically get involved. Bringing these members closer to the business through the community will be really exciting and hopefully, new friendships will form between when they start using the community more and more.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask. 🙂
