I have recently purchased a cheap smartphone for a family member, through giffgaff. I went for the £19 Alcatel U3 2019. For the price, cannot go wrong BUT there are some obvious errors in the phone's listing page.
giffgaff state it is 8GB - states this a number of places
But when received box says 4GB (this means updates are almost impossible with it). For the money, I am sure my father will enjoy trying to get used to a smartphone (from his basic Doro clam shell phone) and if he gets used to it, we will get him something more advanced.
PLEASE can giffgaff phone dept update the website to show the phone is 4GB and not 8GB as shown in images above. The phone also ships with Android Oreo Go Edition), not Android 6, as stated in item specs.
It also takes a Micro Sim, not nano sim.
Come on giffgaff phone's team. You have some cracking items for sale, lets just make sure the correct information is on there to help buyers.
