What exactly is the problem?
Note that the actual number transfer doesn't start until the actual transfer date, normally the next working day if you submit your PAC before 5PM on a working day, or the next but one working day if it's after 5PM. On the transfer day, both your old network SIM and your new giffgaff SIM will stop working sometime in the morning, and your giffgaff SIM should come back on with your original number by 9PM, however, in exceptional cases, it can take until the middle of the next working day. Turning your phone (with your giffgaff SIM) off and on again every half hour or so can help to nudge things along.
