extreme_one Ok, ignore me reading into things wrong (thought was referenced to your thread in GD)
guy_ow That's OK, I borrowed
the same screenshots just to illustrate the point.
Just a thought though, I use Desktop view very rarely, is there the equivalent of the scrubber when in desktop view?
extreme_one (it's been a long day sorry lol) - when you say scrubber, what do you actually mean?
guy_ow This is what it looks like on the mobile site, but it only works in a thread, to navigate through the posts within.
Apparently it's called a scrubber. 😂
extreme_one Ah you are on about that (phew) - there isn't anything as far as I'm aware to go through the discussion boards, it is at present only within threads.
guy_ow Thanks. I think it might prove useful in the long run.
extreme_one sorry for my less than helpful response in the General Discussion thread about this. I see exactly what you mean now. So I agree that a "scrubber" feature is important for the topic list view.
Alternatively, or even additionally, it would be useful to have options on the "load more" button. Such as "x hours" and "x days".
extreme_one I don't know if it's always been the case but you can now page through the thread list by appending ?page=x to the end of the tag view URL eg https://community.giffgaff.com/t/feedback?page=4
a bit of a clumsy workaround but easy to do on desktop.
endorphin I love it! ❣️
It works fine on android when I open in chrome. Auto correct adds spaces but I'm used to deleting those when typing in URLs. So I think I'll be playing with '?page=' a lot. Thank you. 👍️
keithctaylor it works for paging through a thread as well for those particularly lengthy discussions. 😉
endorphin yes, I've been honing my binary search skills all morning! 😆
keithctaylor ah the good ole binary chop! 🙂
