I ordered a refurbished iPhone 7 from giffgaff 2 months ago, but it has suffered recent battery issues, and has been constantly stuck on the charging symbol for an entire day now. I assume that the phone is constantly on 1%, even whilst charging.. the battery is fried.
I am considering returning the phone for repairs (most likely having the battery replaced), but I am worried about losing all of my phone storage that hasn't been backed up after it's fixed.
Would such an incident happen if the phone is repaired? I would rather have my phone resume back to normal without the need of a reset and a restore using iCloud, but I don't know if the repair process will let that happen.
