derekluke1 I beg to differ. The scottish wildcat is a very specific breed. A scottish wildcat is the same size as a domestic cat. But is quite vicious and has never been domesticated. Quite common to see wildcat & domestic cats inter-breeding. So much so that pure-bred Scottish Wilcats are an endangered species.
A lynx is way bigger.
and look at the size of those paws. Can you imagine how big its claws are?
The bobcat is indeed a lynx. Sometimes the USA domestic cat breed called a 'Maine Coon' will have ear tufts, and they can be absolutely huge. Like 2x the size of a normal domestic cat. But unlike Scottish wildcats and bobcats/lynx they are docile and make great pets.
Having said all that, yours was a great photo.
