I have been a giffgaff Pioneer for a long time, but I don’t expect to become a Super Recruiter for the foreseeable future.
I was introduced to giffgaff by my oldest grandson in September 2014.
I have had exactly FIVE activations. Of course, as this is my iPad account, the first one was a SIM for a feature phone a month later (a clamshell Phone with large font and large buttons suitable for elderly/disabled); then my husband (for free calling between us) and 13 yr old grandson in March 2015; a friend of my daughter activated one for her son when I saw her in the supermarket car park in May 2016, and I activated one for my best friend from America to use while she was in UK for nearly a month so we could keep in touch and I lent her a handset (end of summer of 2017?).
My daughter and son in-law had their contracts expire in September 2017, so when my friend went back to USA my daughter took over the SIM and remainder of the Goodybag; and when she got her PAC, transferring her former number to the SIM.
Since then, those whom I introduced have made their own introductions, so my activations have remained static. I don’t really see many people, as my disabilities restrict me somewhat. Quite a few family members are on giffgaff, as are a number of friends, one way and another, so I take full advantage of the free giffgaff-to-giffgaff texts and calls, and tend to vary PAYG with the cheapest Goodybag.
With unlimited calls and texts, on a phone that doesn’t use data, that is all I need. 🤡
