We performed an update to the community platform early on Thursday morning (Thursday 23rd July) - we expected that this would last for about 4 hours between 02:00am and 07:00am. I’m glad to say this update has completed fully.

Our tech team have completed the update and everything should now be running smoothly on the community.

We have pushed back the upgrade to the community platform to the early hours of Thursday 23rd July between 02:00am and 06:00am instead. This means that the community will be unavailable between these times and members will not be able to view or interact with the forum until the upgrade is completed. The community will be available as usual between 02:00am and 06:00am on Wednesday 22nd July again.
We will continue to update this thread as and when we get more information, and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your patience whilst we carry this maintenance out.
Update – 11:35 21st July 2020
We are planning an upgrade to the community platform in the early hours of Wednesday 22nd July between 02:00am and 06:00am. This means that the community will be unavailable between these times and members will not be able to view or interact with the forum until the upgrade is completed. All other giffgaff services as well as the giffgaff website and the app will be available as normal.
We will of course update this thread as more information becomes available. We are really sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for bearing with us while we get this completed.
