UPDATE: I’m coming back to giffgaff!
I wasn’t happy with the iPhone as it had a fault with the battery. I returned the phone & EE SIM Card - which was a lot of hassle dealing with Affordable Mobiles and the EE customer services.
I had loads of problems with them. It’s all returned and cancelled now! I’ve got my PAC Code and I’ve got awesome news, I’m awaiting a new giffgaff SIM!
I’m using an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10 instead now. Also, even though the EE coverage was great at home, it was unusable in the areas around me, whereas giffgaff worked awesomely!
So, I’ve decided never to risk any network other than giffgaff. giffgaff is awesome and simple, other networks just don’t seem to be easy.
I’m very sorry that I’m leaving giffgaff, it’s been a lovely, positive experience! 😃
I’ve loved being part of this community, I’ve so far made 99 posts, and this is my 100th (& last) ever post here. ☹️
I’m leaving for a variety of reasons. The main reason being that the new iPhone SE 2020 (which is the same size as the iPhone 8, but with the iPhone 11 Pro’s processor) is on a great offer at EE, for £21/month, with 50GB of data and no upfront fees. Those prices include the savings from cashback 😄
Deal brought from affordablemobiles.co.uk, reviews here: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.affordablemobiles.co.uk
EE have also built and commissioned a cell tower less than a mile from my house, meaning I can get 2-3 bars of 4G indoors, and 4 bars (max) outdoors. This gives me over 200mbps. This has also lead me to my decision!
However, I’ve also brought 2 family members onto giffgaff, and they’re staying as members! 👍️
So, my time spent on giffgaff was great, but has come to an end now. All the best, octopus16 👋
