scrupps e it’s not right though! A contract is a contract. If I sign up to a contract at a set price for 18 months it means I am committing to paying for 18 months and staying with the company for that period of time at a specific price. If they put up the price then what’s the point of signing up to the contract in the first place. It’s a nonsense and that’s why I wouldn’t touch it.
I provided an explanation, I agree it’s annoying but that’s why.
My ISP have said that they won’t ever increase prices for as long as I stay with them but they aren’t cheap compared to the competition (I’ve learnt through experience that you get what you pay for in that market so I have no complaints paying a bit more) so that gives them a lot of room to absorb increases.
In the mobile market there are very few contract players who are trying to undercut each other on price and there’s only so low you can go.
