True. The average webpage is about 1MB IIRC (not including audio/video) so at 384kbps would take about 20 seconds to load.
Originaly the throttled speed was 256kbps, again IIRC, so giffgaff did increase it by 50% presumably as they could handle the increased data consumption without impacting other users. They’re unlikely then to allow a further 3 fold increase especially as they’ve just recently increased the data allowance on the £20 and £25 goodybags. But who knows?
