I lost signal on my iPhone a week ago now. Tried all the usual troubleshooting tips to resolve (switching off and back on, resetting the network settings, etc) and still no joy. Contacted giffgaff support and they advised me to check the SIM in a different phone. I did this and still nothing, but a borrowed giffgaff SIM in my phone worked fine. So I ordered a new SIM card, which I activated and transferred my number to yesterday evening… it’s about 18 hours later and still no signal. Could it still activate in the next six hours (I know it says allow 24) or is there still something wrong, something I’ve missed? Thanks.
