Tony Blair is no stranger to breaking laws, he famously as PM illegally invaded Iraq, which led to many, many deaths of innocent civilians. He has decided to break the law once more by returning to the UK by private jet on 16 September and refusing to self isolate for 14 days.
MP David Jones told The Sunday Telegraph: “It sets an appalling example to travellers if a former prime minister appears to flout the rules in such a flagrant manner.”
A report claims Mr Blair asked for special dispensation but did not get the exemption required to avoid the isolation period.
Instead millionaire Blair dined at the luxury member’s bar in Mayfair on 26 September in breach of Covid-19 Regulations and whose own website states
“If you or any of your guests are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have been exposed to the virus within the previous 14 days we politely ask you not to visit the Club until you have isolated for 14 days and sought professional medical guidance”
Blair was photographed at the White House, where the President subsequently (along with staff and colleagues) fell ill with Covid-19.
Blair should be fined by the Met-Police immediately in accordance with UK laws and the close protection officers who accompanied him should be put on home leave until their tests prove negative.
