I bought a goody bag 3 days ago and it was working perfectly fine and now all of a sudden my messages wont send and also wont let me make calls

Its probally a glitch in system. In which you have to contact agents here -
and they can take up to 24 hours to reply here -

Sounds like a bug - have seen this before and would need to contact an agent to get this fixed.

I've got the same problem with my daughter's phone. I bought £10 of credit which now has disappeared leaving the same message as yours. After the farce with the porting and the 'conact and agent' form not working I am seriously thinking of taking my business elswhere. Except that I am worried that I will never get my pac code from giffgaff!
I have has the same problem. Suddenly the goody bag has disappeared! After the pac code farce I am seriously thinking of leaving giffgaff, but I am worried about never getting a new pac code! The 'contact an agent form is **bleep** and doesnt' even work.
Mine has done the same, seems to be a common problem today, my daughters phones are working fine so not a network glitch.
I think there are all sorts of issues at the moment and it is not the best advert. It's all the money being spent on advertising on e4 !
