We are getting information that suggests a recent batch of SIMs that were sent out have the incorrect activation codes on them.
If the code on your SIM is incorrect then when you try to activate it by typing in the 6 digit code the following message will be displayed: 'Activation code not valid'.
Unfortunately, if this happens you will not be able to progress the activation of the SIM.
We are investigating this and will hopefully be posting a workaround solution tomorrow morning which will enable you to activate the SIMs.

The back end systems have now been co-ordinated, so this issue should no longer occur.
UPDATE 5th September 21.32:
This issue has recurred for 20 members today. These members have just been sent replacement codes which should work. If you have had the code not valid message today please check the email address that is registered to your giffgaff email account for this email with the new code.
