My nomination is Macmillan cancer because, this year they have been there for many of my friends this year and myself. They are the ones that offer you someone to talk to if you need. Cancer research dont off that option. I feel Macmillan go the extra mile for all of their patients an patient families. U dont even need to be a patient you can just pick up the phone anytime.

Hi @janinek87

A really nice choice but Macmillan has been our official charity previously so is not eligible this time around. Is there any other charity you would like to pick?

There are so many worthy causes out there, all of us who have put forward nominations have put forward great causes. It's just a shame you can only nominate one charity. On the upside giffgaff do a great thing by doubling the amount donated through payback and helping two extremely worthy causes

Child Poverty Action Group

Child Poverty Action Group is a the leading national charity that campaigns for an end to child poverty in the UK.

The UK is one of the wealthiest countries in the world but despite this 3.5 million children - at least one in four - currently live poverty. And if urgent action isn't taken, it is estimated that by 2020 as many has one million more children will be living in poverty in the UK.

In our work we speak out on UK child poverty issues, publish the most up to date facts and figures and draw upon the real-life experiences of children living in poverty. Our advice work, publications and training support a national network of advisers who provide vital support to low income families.

Nominate us if you share our belief that every child should have a fair chance in life to reach their full potential.
