Hi everyone! Me again - the clocks are going forward at the end of the last week of March, and we like to send a little reminder out to people so they don't end up waking up late. We'll be sending it from late next week so people have plenty of warning.
Tradition is, one of you lovely lot writes the message, and this time around is no exception - if you give us your thoughts, maybe a little wordplay, a joke, or a poem, it could easily be the text message that gets sent to thousands of giffgaffers reminding them about the clocks going forward.
The main things to remember:
The clocks go forward on the 31st of March at 2am.
The clocks are going forward, not back - we don't want people losing an hour the wrong way!
Limit it to around 120 characters so we can fit some admin stuff in the text at the end. We've got a little leeway but we can't go much higher (a text message is only 160).
Because we've got a lot of people to send it to, we'll be aiming to send the message from Wednesday right through to Saturday, so it needs to make sense no matter what day someone gets it.
We're taking entries until 1pm on Tuesday, March 26th, so get your thinking caps on quick.
Some theme ideas to get you started:
Who stole the hour from the day?
Are you looking forward to having sunny evenings?
How does it feel to be a time traveller?
And the legal nitty gritty if you need it:
Thanks all, I'm really looking forward to seeing your entries as always
