December 6th's outage - what we're doing to say sorry [Updated]

Just had a text to say I'm 80% through my data! ...I'd like to know how when I'm constantly being told I'm "offline" and spent an entire day of my goodybag unable to use any of my services? Really getting the hump with GiffGaff/O2 now. Service has been poor pre AND post Dec 6th disaster!

I couldnt get on the internet all day also for a while now ive been having trouble receiving calls also data issues for a couple of months

Hi All, have lost 4G data since the outage but my husband also on giffgaff  has got 4G. My Sim is several years old therefore i am thinking of swapping the sim card for a new one. Do you think this will restore my 4G data?

Has anyone actually had their email about this yet allowing them to claim compensation from the goodwill fund? I haven't and I'm conerned I've been overlooked.

Thanks for the offer @vespaash2 - giffgaff. To everyone asking you have to wait for the emails which can take a few days to be sent to everyone. You have until next Friday to make the claim so there's plenty of time. Am I the only one who thinks instead of giving a small amount as compensation to everyone it would be better just giving the whole amount to the third charity in the vote. It would be good to help out an extra charity this time

Since joining "small" I have nothing but praise for this network. That said, as a small business owner this outage has cost me valuable  time and very very very valuable money. I have no doubt that a faceless corporate giant like O2 doesn't give a **bleep** unless you have 800 business handsets but that doesn't put milk on my daughters' cornflakes...

@t_will I have received no email. I was affected by the outage and could not make any calls when it was most urgent. My data wasn't working and neither was I able to receive calls. I am still waiting for this email so that I may register too.
