December 6th's outage - what we're doing to say sorry [Updated]

Thanks...but my issue is that my phone now indicates that I have no minutes left at all!!! 

I should have near enough 100% of my monthly payment, because I've hardly used it so far since 2nd of this month when my new bundle began.

So where is the link for the registration, as it hasn't been emailed! I've had to come and search for details about what to do. It took nearly two days to be able to send texts and data was slow even on the 8th December. Tx

As far as the big gaff is concerned there is no fault or blame. As far as O2 is concerned as the contractual carrier this is an epic fail of massive proportions. Personally, this is the kind of outage that I see fit to accept in the unfortunate event of a nuclear attack or EMP attack. Or at best a solar flare, although there are measures to prevent that, but most certainly not a bloody software glitch.

The offer of compensation is good, but is an opt in from an email with a response deadline really the way to go?

 

Alsom if you intend to close responses to the compensation email on the 14th Dec, you really need to send them out in time for people to respond.
