You should receive a email regarding compensation within the next few days.
Obviously it will take time to email all members.
I have not received mine yet either

You didnt read the T&Cs when you joined ? We are not entitled to compo for a few hours downtime which was not even giffgaffs fault. Jeeze !


"giffgaff Terms and Conditions

2. Provision of Service
2.1. We will provide the Service to you, and you will be
entitled to the quality of Service generally provided
by a competent mobile telecommunications service
provider exercising reasonable skill and care.
However, the Service is not fault free and we will
not be liable to you if it is impaired by geographic,
atmospheric, Network traffic or other conditions or
circumstances beyond our control, including but not
limited to the following:
a) The Service is subject to Network coverage
and is not available in all parts of the United
Kingdom or in all other countries; and
b) The Network may from time to time require
upgrading, modification, maintenance or other
work which may result in partial or complete
non-availability of the Service."

I lost 6 hours pay because I had to go home. I'm on the minimum wage and currently paying out £75 per month to get my son to the hospital leaving me with a total of £35 per week for food etc for myself and 2 children. I've NEVER bothered about compensation before but for 2 days my son wasn't able to contact me so I had no alternative but to stay at home. 87p might not be a lot to you, but believe me, my "real world" is a lot realer than yours!!! Merry Christmas!!!

Hi GiffGaff. I have been struggling with sending and receiving texts since last week. It has been inconsistent which has been very inconvenient. 


My husband received a sorry email but I have not. 


Please can you help?

Can someone fro. Giffgaff/admin tell us please, if we are gonna be compensated for this?

This thread is getting filled up with complaints but nobody is giving us a straight answer from giffgaff/admin.
